This month, EDEN BodyWorks is celebrating its 17th anniversary! Since the beginning, the goal of our brand has been to create products that nurture the hair and produce amazing results! It’s crazy to think that our products have played a role in the hair care journey of so many individuals. We are overjoyed to have made it this far, and so thankful for all of your support! With that said, our birthday wish is for many more fruitful years to come!
Summer Soiree Garden Party
Naturally, we had to celebrate this special milestone, EDEN-style. On August 16th, we hosted a Garden Party in Brooklyn, NY. As any soiree would, this event called for everyone to be dressed in their best. Hours before the event, Stylist Gabrielle Corney worked her magic, styling Team EDEN’s hair. Meanwhile, Makeup Artist Keanda (a.k.a. Keys on the beat), beat their faces beautifully! Both members of the glam squad did an amazing job and showed up to the event looking stunning as well!
The Garden Party was meant to be a small and intimate event that allowed us to celebrate with our community while also staying safe. The purpose for the event was to celebrate the 17th anniversary of EDEN and the launch of our new #LavenderAloe collection (coming soon). In promotion of the release, the color scheme for the event was lavender and sage. Each member of Team EDEN dressed in white, while guests arrived in various shades of green.
Let’s just say, everyone understood the assignment!

The event took place at 501 Union. The space was decorated tastefully, with EDEN-themed accents all around. When guests first entered the space, they were met by a lounge and bar area to chat and drink. A few steps further into the venue led to an open garage-like space, which allowed the soft summer breeze to enter in. A number of playful photo opportunities were set up for all the guests to enjoy. On one side of the garage space was a big bathtub bubbling with lavender balloons that guests could pose alongside. Near the other wall, were life-size letters in greenery spelling out the word EDEN. Against the furthest side of the venue was a wall of greenery, which served as the perfect backdrop.
In the lounge, an open bar offered guests a selection of beverages. They could choose from a list of three signature cocktails or pour themselves a glass of water to refresh. While sipping, savory hor d’oeuvres were also served by the awesome event staff. Each food option was packed with flavor! It seemed that the guests were especially enjoying the catfish and grits. Shoutout to Jeffrey Morneau Atelier for not only curating an amazing event experience, but also for preparing the most delicious menu of food!
It was a joy to party it up with everyone and to meet all of the #EDENCurlfriends ambassadors that regularly help people to #discoverEDEN. Thanks to everyone who came out and showed their support as a friend of EDEN. It was great seeing so many successful women supporting one another under one roof. On top of that, the energy was lively and everyone arrived ready to have a good time, so the vibes were just immaculate.
Of course, the music helped set the tone. The key to any great gathering is a solid DJ with a playlist that gets everyone on their feet, and DJ Mr. Moto did not disappoint. He delivered a mix of classics and new hits that had everyone singing and dancing along. Overall, a playlist that would likely make it to everyone’s Spotify account!
